Washington Examiner W.H. Correspondent: The United States Secret Service Was ‘Woefully Unprepared’ to Combat Assassination Attempts
‘One thing that internal reviews by the Department of Homeland Security have unearthed is that the United States Secret Service was woefully unprepared to handle these assassination attempts’
EXCERPT:
DATOC: “Certainly. And it’s something, again, I think the American electorate hasn’t necessarily had a focus on until these assassination attempts on Donald Trump came into light. And one thing that internal reviews by the Department of Homeland Security have unearthed is that the United States Secret Service was woefully unprepared to handle these assassination attempts. There is a level of groupthink at the body that the Biden Administration said they weren’t comfortable with. And so, there will be reforms, certainly from this new incoming Republican administration. Security is especially tight, especially in a time where the United States finds itself embroiled in a number of conflicts overseas, albeit indirectly.”
