KRISTOL: "He’s totally politicizing the Justice Department. He has the courts giving him broad immunity. He is going to pardon the j 6 insurrectionists. When you put it together, what is the image of America we then have? The emboldening of violence on his behalf whether it’s explicitly ordered or just kind of implicitly encouraged and smiled upon and winked at under Trump striking. Is that what voters want? I don’t think so. That’s why he’s been losing a little bit of ground actually this last week since the Madison Square Garden event. But it's the real threat of Trump's second term. I would say it’s been hard to bring that across to people because people have such confidence in America and such confidence those things don’t happen here."
