THOMPSON: "There's a lot of truth to what Jeff Bezos put in that op-ed, but as you noted, doing this 11 days before the election, when the op-ed had already been drafted, versus doing it six months ago, I think it‘s a complete defensible position to, like, have a newspaper not endorse a presidential candidate because a lot of readers in these days don‘t differentiate the editorial board and the news side and they think, 'Washington Post endorsed Kamala, the news side is biased.' But again, they could have done it six months ago. And beyond just Jeff Bezos and Blue Origin, he has a ton of government contracts between his various businesses and it raises a lot of questions."
