But those of us who were born and raised in the area, we all know that Kid Rock is just doing cosplay and that Eminem is actually a real product of the area and of the city of which he speaks and that he represents. And he also doesn't use his platform very often in the political spectrum. So, when he does speak like this, it does have impact in Michigan specifically, but also nationally. Remember, he's still a very popular figure. And ‘Lose Yourself' did win an Oscar because it is that dope and it does still have that staying power like that."
