ELLIS: “I think also what we're seeing is the biggest bully in town, which is Donald Trump running these anti-LGBTQ ads, especially anti-trans ads that he's running across the country, especially in battleground states. And today is a moment where we stand up and we say our spirit drowns out hate. And we are with these kids who are just being inundated by politics that are anti-LGBTQ. This past year, we saw over 500 anti-LGBTQ bills proposed. So what we've been doing, especially around trans folks, because only 70 percent of Americans say they know someone who's trans, more Americans report having seen a ghost. So we're running ads in the battleground states across the country to introduce the world to trans people.”
