MILLS: “And so, we have to start looking at areas like the Department of Education. I’m fine with that going away and going to the individual states. EPA, it’s regulating and over-regulating our businesses to stop the private sector from thriving. So we have to deregulate things by using stuff like the REINS Act, which Kat Cammack had brought to the table, which looks at permit reforms to help economic growth strategies. We can’t cut our way out of this economic deficit. We have to grow our way out of it. And so we have to think about where’s the biggest expenses. Well, it sits in Washington, D.C., so let’s start there at the central hub of where the problem is. Let’s start making the necessary cuts because more government does not mean better governance.”
