CNN’s Hunt Says Harris Sounds Like the ‘Republican’ and Trump ‘Is the Liberal’ on Economic Strategies

CNN’s Kasie Hunt argued Vice President Kamala Harris sounds like “the Republican” and former President Donald Trump sounds like the “liberal” when it comes to their economic policies.

In a Thursday panel discussion on CNN This Morning, Wall Street Journal reporter Annie Linskey noted that Harris and Trump have policies that are more similar than people think, citing their interest in ultimately boosting U.S. manufacturing. The difference, she argued, is that Harris wants to complete this goal by offering federal tax credits to new businesses while Trump wants to use tariffs on foreign countries.
