AXELROD: “I know that Trump folks will say, well, don't -- you can't, you know, blame the victim here. But the fact is that his rhetoric and his appeal has been tinged with permission structure for people -- when you tell people that if we lose, you won't have a country anymore, you know, and we saw it on January 6th, it was his words that precipitated an insurrection, violent insurrection at the Capitol. So you can't sow the seeds of violence and then play the victim.”
