Salena Zito: Harris’ Non-Answer on Fracking Is a ‘Wishy-Washy Way to Avoid ... Giving Clarity to Voters’

‘I suspect based on her answer that she still holds her same values is that fracking is not part of her values’

EXCERPT:

ZITO: "Yeah, you know, I think this is a much tighter race. I spend a lot of time on the ground. I was in Erie two days ago, can’t even remember what day it was, two days ago following Senator Vance as he is trying to win over voters there. And Erie is arguably not just the most important county in Pennsylvania, it's the most important county in the entire United States. If you win Erie, you will win the election. This is where the shale industry is having their very big event coming up at the end of September to bring all kinds of people in to talk about the benefits that it has had in the state. So I think that if this is something that she is truly supporting, she should be there talking to those people that are in the industry. I think that would go a long way. I suspect, based on her answer, that she still holds her same values, is that fracking is not part of her values and that was sort of a wishy-washy way to avoid directly answering and giving clarity to voters."
