Hemingway: Dems’ Message of Unity Is ‘Quite Overblown’
EXCERPT:
HEMINGWAY: “There are a couple reasons why Democrats are really trying push this message of unity. The first one is pretty obvious. They just ousted the president of the United States on the ticket and replaced him with someone who hadn’t won a single electoral vote from any Democrat. So it’s really important to sort of pretend that that did not take place, to pretend that there is unity. The first guest on your program today, RFK Jr., lifelong Democrat from a really important Democrat family, shows that that unity is quite overblown. But the bigger problem for Kamala Harris is that she is the incumbent vice president in a failed presidential administration, so that was a big takeaway I took from this convention, was how much they were trying to make this a referendum on Donald Trump.”
