PUZDER: "Her claims of gouging are absurd. We actually have the inflation numbers. You can compare the wholesale inflation numbers which are what businesses pay to the consumer inflation numbers. And if you do, over the term of the Obama Administration, they are both up about 19%. Well, that’s because businesses aren’t gouging. They are dealing with the same inflationary pressures as consumers are. And they have to increase the price of their goods to stay in business. They can’t absorb all these inflationary costs."
