And earlier this month, the board of regents you‘re a New York finally adopted some rules banning the use of realistic drills in order to prepare children for the possibility of being exposed to a mass shooting. Know I spent some time talking to these parents and all of them told me the same thing that they felt that these drills were very realistic and that they were traumatizing their children, creating a lot of anxiety exposing them to violence.”
