Maher Tells Buttigieg It ‘Looks Bad’ Biden Hasn’t Fired Anyone Over Trump Shooting: ‘We’ll Look Into It if We Have Time?’

Bill Maher pressed Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg about the security failings that led to last week’s assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump in Pennsylvania on his Friday night show.

According to the FBI, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks was able to get a clear line of sight on the former president but no one from the Secret Service had explained how as of a week after the shooting that left a man dead and Trump and two others wounded.

There have also been calls for President Joe Biden to fire Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, who has not spoken publicly on her agency’s failings from last week and has not stepped down.
