WALLACE: "For all the talk about — and there seems to be a 'bash Biden' session going on here — I hold the Democratic Party much more responsible than Joe Biden. Yes, Biden is stuck and he's — and digging in. But having said that, you know, I go back to 1968 when the Democratic Party turned on Lyndon Johnson and really pushed him and almost forced him to get out. And on March 31st, 1960, he did get out as the — running for reelection. You know, if the Democratic Party really wanted to put the wood to Joe Biden, they could do it. Hakeem Jeffries, I know people say, well, you know, you don‘t do it in public. If it doesn‘t work in private, do it in public. Hakeem Jeffries hasn‘t called for him to leave. Chuck Schumer hasn‘t called for him to leave. Last thing I heard, he said, 'I'm with Joe.' Nancy Pelosi said, 'Well, that‘s not a final decision.' The party could be going much harder at Joe Biden than they are."
