DEAN: "I’m just saying, think carefully, do the polling, assess as carefully as you can, and then make your decision. The only person who’s going to drop out of this is the president. There’s not going to be a coup at the convention or something like that. The president has to make this decision."

MELBER: "No, I made that point. That’s clear."

DEAN: "He’s a guy who’s got more experience in politics than anybody who’s alive in America today. And he knows very well that oftentimes politics is not fair and perception overtakes reality. And reality is he’s been a terrific president."
