Jason Johnson on Calls for Biden to Drop Out: ‘We’ve Got to Work with Who We Have Now’

‘Joe Biden might be the only person right now that can stop this authoritarian regime from coming to power’

EXCERPT:

JOHNSON: “And I want everybody to understand this going forward, because there's a whole lot of screaming and crying and fears and everything else right now about Joe Biden. I want to make it clear, he’s probably going to be the nominee, and if you don’t like everything we’re talking about that Donald Trump is going to do, that’s the guy you’ve got to line up behind. I think in the face of fascism, in the face of an authoritarian regime, spending the next three and a half months arguing about who’s the first person to take the hit from that administration is not going to be a good idea. We have to work with who we’ve got now. I wish they were better, everybody wishes they were better. But Joe Biden might be the only person right now that can stop this authoritarian regime from coming to power. And I think people are being very naive if they say we can do a switch halfway through this battle and stop this impending war that these folks have been preparing for for 25 years."
