Bill Maher Stunned When Charlamagne Says Black People Still Have To Be 5 Times Better to Succeed

Comic and political pundit Bill Maher pushed back when radio star Charlamagne Tha God said Black people still have to be “5 times better” than everyone else in order to succeed — which Maher called “a zombie lie!”

On Friday night’s edition of HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, the comic’s panel guests were Ana Navarro and Joel Stein and the interview guest was Charlamagne Tha God.

While discussing President Joe Biden’s commencement address to Morehouse College, Maher challenged Biden’s question to the class: “What is democracy if you have to be 10 times better than anyone else to get a fair shot?”

Charlamagne said now it’s more like five times, which stunned and displeased Maher.
