Haberman to Aidala: ‘You’re Completely Misrepresenting What I Said’

‘I‘m not talking about the jury charge’

EXCERPT:

AIDALA: "But you‘ve got to still just take into consideration that this is a guy, meaning Trump, who has Secret Service protection there. I mean, there are elements that do make this difference where, Ms. Haberman, I disagree with you, there are elements — him being the president has nothing to do with the jury charge. Nothing."

HABERMAN: "You‘re completely misrepresenting what I just said."

AIDALA: "I thought you said — I thought you said it was complicated — I thought you said it was complicated when a former president of the United States — "

HABERMAN: "No, that is not what I said. What I said was that prosecution‘s don‘t get crowdsourced. Typically, you don‘t actually pay attention to the political realm. But in this case, it is understandable. And I‘m not talking about the jury charge. You totally misunderstood what I said."

AIDALA: "Okay."

HABERMAN: "You misrepresented it."
