KAGAN: "We’ve always had a large number of Americans who are fundamentally disagreeing with what the Founders created, which is a system which levels hierarchies, it levels racial, it levels religious hierarchies, and people have been resisting that. I think what we are seeing today, at least from a substantial, and probably the core of Trump’s supporters are people who would like to see our system fundamentally change, some want to call it a Christian America, some want it to be a white Christian America, which is not what the Founders created."
