Leo Terrell Avoids Answering if O.J. Simpson Was Guilty: ‘The Prosecution Failed to Prove His Case’

‘The point is the court of public opinion found Simpson guilty’

RUSH EXCERPT:

TERRELL: “Will first of all Sean my friendship with you in my association with Fox News began with the O.J. Simpson case and it’s been almost 30 years and I appreciate and that respect and we’ve had discussions about the simpson case but let me be very clear, I was friends with the family I knew the majority of the dream team I happen to have the privilege of knowing Mr dershowitz as well and as far as the legal system, the legal system works because the prosecution failed to prove his case and I think the team with cochrane and it dershowitz and bailey and Shapiro were able to prove a reasonable doubt and in the court of public opinion that’s a different story but as far as my personal opinion it’s not relevant. But the point is the court of public opinion found simpson guilty and in the rule of law and we are a nation of law the jury had an acquittal and I think everyone in this country can agree the prosecution did a horrible job in pursuing their case against O.J. Simpson.”
