Rep. Bowman: ‘We Cannot Condemn October 7th and Then Condone the Killing of Civilian Women and Children That’s Happening Right Now’

BOWMAN: “Absolutely. And we immediately condemned those acts by Hamas on October 7th, as we should, but we cannot condemn October 7th and then condone the killing of civilian women and children that’s happening right now. And history didn’t start on October 7th. There was a blockade in Gaza prior to that. There was the propping up of Hamas by Benjamin Netanyahu prior to that. There is an occupation, military occupation, for decades in the West Bank right now. As a matter of fact, 400 people have been killed in the West Bank, 400 Palestinians since October 7th. West Bank had nothing to do with what happened on October 7th. Right? And so, we have to be honest about the entire conversation and not just say one thing over the other.”
