Kurtz Slams Mainstream Media: Trump’s Bloodbath Comment Is Just Being ‘Wrenched out of Context’

‘He’s talking about Chinese car sales hurting American jobs’

EXCERPT:

KURTZ: "Huge headlines about Trump saying in an Ohio rally last night that if he loses, there will be a bloodbath. But if you watch it, as I just did, he’s talking about Chinese car sales hurting American jobs right before and right after. Much of the media is just wrenching this out of context. The former president told me he did the interview because he finds this program to be fair — and, by the way, I’m again offering the Biden campaign a chance to appear as well. I don’t wear anyone’s jersey, but I get that many see fairness as obsolete, old-fashioned in this era of toxic divisiveness. Some partisans will say the interview was too soft because I didn’t go after Donald Trump with a baseball bat. Other partisans will say that maybe it was too hostile I must be suffering from Trump derangement syndrome. That’s life. To me, it’s journalism.”
