Right now, we have control of only one third of one half of the federal government, and we have the smallest margin in U.S. History. We have a two-vote margin in the House, and in a week it will go down to a one-vote margin for our House Republican majority. When you have a situation like that, you are not going to get appropriations bills that you like, and we have fought tooth-and-nail. The reason the FY24, the fiscal year 24 bills were so late is because we’ve been fighting them tooth-and-nail to take this nonsense out of federal spending. But it’s like turning an aircraft carrier.
