CONWAY: “I’m just mystified by that. But I must say, I’m not going to say I don’t trust the polls, but I think the polls aren’t going to necessarily reflect who is going to turn out. I think the people who are really upset that this criminal is going to be a nominee, a major party nominee for president, are the ones who are going to show up and crawl on broken glass to see that he is not elected. But that said, I just think it’s just another example of the depths to which Donald Trump has dragged this country. We accept things that were absolutely not remotely conceivably acceptable just a few years ago. I mean, the man is an adjudicated rapist. He is, there is no question, he stole classified documents and then shuffled them around to hide them from the FBI. He should be in jail. That case, the Cannon case should have been tried a long time ago. He should already be convicted. And what happened is that we just — psychologists call it malignant normality. He have accepted this malignancy as normal.”
