Jeb: Nikki Haley ‘Was Remarkable’ in Her Response to Obama
RUSH TRANSCRIPT:
ROBINSON: “This is Eugene Robinson from the Washington Post.”
BUSH: “Gene, let me make it clear here, I’m height changed. My wife tells me there’s an inverse relationship between height and intelligence. So I’m struggling.”
ROBINSON: “My wife says the same thing. Did you watch the state of the union last night? I’m curious as to what you thought of governor Nicki hay Lee’s response to president Obama and what you thought of that as a Republican manifesto.”
BUSH: “I had a town hall meeting and got back to the hotel and saw part of the president’s speech and governor Hailey’s speech. I thought she was remarkable actually. It’s always a difficult thing to be the Republican speaker after President Obama but she did an extraordinary job and she talked about a more broader hopeful optimistic Republican message. A conservative message that draws people towards our country for the cause. I thought she did a great job.”
BRZEZINSKI: “All right. Governor Jeb Bush, thank you so much for being on the show. Come back any time.”
BUSH: “You bet.”
