Brzezinski: Clinton’s ‘Message Is Not Authentic and Bernie’s Is’

‘So, translation, Joe, her message is not authentic and Bernie’s is’

BRZEZINSKI: “Vice President Biden making good on his promise to stay in the mix throughout the democratic primary. And in an interview last night he offered this patently frank explanation about why the Democratic primary feels closer than so many predicted.”
[clip starts]
BIDEN: “I think that, that Bernie is speaking to a yearning that is deep and real and he has credibility on it. And that is the absolute enormous concentration of wealth in a small group of people with the middle class now being able to be shown being left out.”
BORGER: “Hillary is talking about that as well.”
BIDEN: “But it’s relatively new for Hillary to talk about that. Hillary’s focus has been on other things up to now and that's been Bernie's --  no one questions Bernie’s authenticity on those things.”
BORGER: “And they question Hillary's?”
BIDEN: “No, I think that they question everybody's that hasn't been talking about it all the way long.  But I think she’s come forward with some really, really thoughtful approaches to deal with the issue.”
[clip ends]
BRZEZINSKI: “So, translation, Joe, her message is not authentic and Bernie’s is. I mean, I don’t know how else to look at that.”
