WINE-BANKS: "The political ramifications, the fear that the people are talking about, that we will see another January 6th, the fear that there will be some horrible civil war if he is kept off the ballot, is one, number one, that can’t be avoided because if he runs and should lose, we’d be in the same place at that point. You can’t take that off the ballot, but the other is that if there is a way for Congress to waive the disqualification, and that is a political decision, not one that the Supreme Court should make."
