California Physician: DEI Is Going to Ruin Medicine

BARKE: "Well, listen, unfortunately, DEI is literally a poison to objective standards of excellence. This is going to ruin medicine. You will now go into a doctor and not know what merits by which they became a doctor. So I don’t know why these different organizations are doing this, but, listen, AMA and organizations like the American College of Surgeons only represent a tiny percentage of physicians, yet they speak as if they have authority of representing all doctors and they don’t, you know, fortunately. So DEI, I hope, does not make its way into the healthcare profession, like it has in academia and what we just saw at Harvard, for example. So we'll keep fighting on behalf of the American patients and American doctors."
