Joe Concha: DEI Only Promotes Division, Instead of Unity

‘In the end the most important diversity any corporation should be pushing is diversity of thought, of ideas’

EXCERPT:

CONCHA: "When stripping away all the noise, Julie, DEI only promotes in the end division instead of unity."
BANDERAS: "Yeah."
CONCHA: "You know, perhaps Harvard and the Democratic Party in general, right, they should embrace what John F. Kennedy had to say about this during a press conference in 1963. I found this during a research for my new book coming out next year. Quote, 'I don't think quotas are a good idea. I think it's a mistake to begin to assign quotas on the basis of religion or race or color or nationality. We are too mixed, this society of ours to begin to divide ourselves on the basis of race and cover.' Just try to -- color, amen. I mean, this was true 60 years ago, during the Civil Rights Movement, it's true today, Julie.”
