CARLUCCI: "No, it’s a great point. And I think, look, the policies are working, the messaging is not. And that’s why you see this latest shift to say, 'Hey, if you don’t believe all that good stuff I’m talking about, just wait till you have an alternative like Donald Trump, who’s talked about things like repealing the ACA, the Affordable Care Act, which would take away insurance, health insurance for millions of Americans.' So I think when you contrast the difference between the opponents, that’s where Biden starts to really take off. The oldest trick in the book is that negative campaigning works because no one believes the positive, it’s easy to believe the negative. So, 'Bidenomics' is a mistake in terms of just boasting, saying, 'Hey, I passed this, you should feel good.' He has passed it, the economic indicators are catching up. But in the meantime, he has to contrast. And that’s why you’re gonna see him talk a lot more about MAGA-nomics and what that really means for the American people."
