DeSantis: Haley Exemplifies Everything Trump Supporters Are Against — ‘Establishment, Globalism, Liberal Wall Street Donors’

DeSANTIS: “I mean, she was at a town hall, I saw a clip and there was a guy said, 'Yeah, I kind of like, but you sound a lot like a Democrat a lot of times.' And it's true. With what she's done, that's just a reality. So she's not going to win a Republican primary, so what she's there to do is to take some votes from people who don't want Trump and, really, I think ensure that Trump has a better path to be able to go. Interestingly, Donald Trump -- so, Trump's core supporters do not like Haley because they everything they claim they're against -- establishment, globalism, liberal Wall Street donors, on and on -- that is Haley, right? And yet, when Trump is asked, 'Can you categorically rule her out as vice president,' he will not rule her out as vice president. I think he owes his own supporters an answer to that. Can he tell his core supporters, the people who have been with him through thick and thin, who want an America First agenda, can he tell them that under no circumstances will he select Nikki Haley to be his running mate? I'd like to see an answer to that question. I don't think he's going to answer that question, just as I don't think Nikki Haley, even though she's supposed to be courting all the people who hate Trump, I don't think she's willing to say that she would not accept the vice presidential slot from Donald Trump. So the only way out of this mess is to nominate me to be the next president. Then we don't have to worry about it."
