Dem Rep. Dan Goldman: Hunter Biden Investigation Is ‘All Smoke and Mirrors ... Total Sham and Failure’

GOLDMAN: “And so, ultimately, it’s just an admission, not only that they are incapable of conducting a real investigation, but that this particular investigation is all smoke and mirrors. Because if they had actual evidence of wrongdoing connecting Hunter Biden to his father in any way, shape, or form, they would be eager to have a public hearing. And there are video clips of James Comer saying in recent months that he would welcome Hunter Biden in private or in public, whatever he chooses. Well, he chose to come in publicly because, understandably, he doesn’t trust Chairman Comer who has been cherry-picking and misleading the American public based on closed-door depositions this entire investigation. And so, Hunter Biden wants to testify directly to the American people, who deserve to hear what he has to say. But that is not good enough for Chairman Comer because that would prevent him from manipulating closed-door testimony, and he would then have to acknowledge that his investigation is a total sham and failure.”
