SHROPSHIRE: "I think that there’s been a lot of tea reading in every election this cycle about what is important for 2024. I think that the reality is that Virginia is a true bellwether and has been for a number of years. And with the election of Glenn Youngkin, you know, that’s when we saw the first, you know, anti-CRT debate start. We saw the book banning and attacks on black history and the first crazy school board meetings. So really it is kind of a harbinger for what is to come. The only thing standing between a full-on MAGA agenda is the very slim majority that they have in the Senate right now, in the state Senate right now."
