Biden: If Members of Congress Refuse to Act on Gun Violence, ‘Then We’ll Need to Elect New Members of Congress’

BIDEN: “In 2023 so far, our country has experienced more than 500 mass shootings and well over 30,000 deaths due to gun violence. That’s just totally unacceptable. It’s not who we are. And we have to act, and we have to act now. And let me be very clear: If members of the Congress refuse to act, then we’ll need to elect new members of Congress that will act. (Applause) Democrat or Republican.”
