Fox Business: Students Face Disenrollment as Rutgers Will Still Require Covid Vaccine, Mask Mandate

‘Back in 2021, Rutgers said people have an option to dis-enroll if they don’t want to get the Covid vaccine’

EXCERPT:

VAUGHN: "Well, according to an anti-mandate group No College Mandates, about 60 schools in the U.S. have a vaccine mandate for their students, one of those schools is a state university in New Jersey, Rutgers, and they are getting some blowback to their mandate that requires students to get a vaccine exception if they don’t want to get a Covid vaccine. Back in 2021, Rutgers said people have an option to disenroll if they don’t want to get the Covid vaccine. We’ve reached out to Rutgers to see if that’s still their policy, but we have not heard back. At the height of the pandemic, Rutgers detailed what would happen if a student decides not to get the vaccine, saying in a letter sent to Newsweek this: 'Students who do not provide an exemption request and refuse to get vaccinated can move to online instruction or disenroll.' But even if a students gets a coveted medical or religious exemption from the university, on-campus activity is not guaranteed, the university guidance saying this: 'For those granted exemptions, on-campus participation is not guaranteed. Students granted exemptions will not be able to live in on-campus housing.'”
