Scott Jennings: I Doubt Trump Would Even Want to Share the Debate Stage with Chris Christie

JENNINGS: "Well, I think anybody who files for president somewhere in the back of their mind thinks they alone have the ability to catch lightning in a bottle and make history, but the reality for Chris Christie is that that’s very unlikely to happen. However, he is going to be the most pugilistic person in the race. He is the most brawling debater in the race. We all remember what he did to Marco Rubio back in 2016 at that faithful New Hampshire debate. That’s one of the reasons his presence in the race, I think, is one of the reasons why I wonder if Donald Trump will even want to go to a debate stage. If Christie were to qualify for the debates, would Donald Trump want to be up there with him? I wonder about that because he is one of the most skillful debaters we have in the party today."
