Deese: ‘Wage Growth’ Shows that ‘the State of the Economy Is Strong’

DEESE: "On Friday morning, when I was over with the president in South Court, he said this, so I would just say what he said on Friday, which is that the state of the economy is strong and that, you know, you see that in the lowest unemployment rate in 53 years, you see that in that most jobs created in the last two years in our country’s history, you see that in historic progress in an equitable recovery, you see that in the wage growth that we have seen being disproportionately going to those in the lower half of the income distribution."
