In making the announcement, Columbia touted Clinton’s ‘extraordinary talents and capacities,’ together with her singular life experiences, adding that Hillary Clinton is unique and, most importantly, exceptional in what she can bring to the university’s missions of research and teaching. As a fellow, she will be expected, we are told, to support programs related to protecting democracy and engaging women and young people worldwide. That is Hillary Clinton’s new gig.”
