NBC: The CIA Has Launched ‘Its First Ever Unclassified Podcast’ Called ‘The Langley Files’

‘It hopes to reach a wider more diverse audience with the release of this new podcast’

EXCERPT:

MELVIN: "Meanwhile, the CIA known for its secrecy, of course, but this morning we are getting a rare glimpse inside the spy agency. It’s stepping out of the shadows with its own podcast. 'NBC News Now' anchor Joe Fryer tells us what to expect. Joe, good morning."
FRYER: "Hey, good morning. The world of podcasting has attracted people like former President Obama, Oprah and Meghan Markle. Now the CIA is getting in on the act, launching its first-ever unclassified podcast, 'The Langley Files.' Its debut episode features Director William Burns, who says he wants to demystify the work they do and, spoiler alert, it’s a lot different than those cloak-and-dagger spy movies we have all come to know and love."
