Candace Owens: Politicians Who Release Criminals Are Destroying America Under the Guise of Compassion

OWENS: "For whatever reason, people keep thinking that we need to prioritize making sure that the prisons are empty. Why would we want the prisons to be empty, in my opinion, when it looks like, when you hear these stories, that we don’t have enough people in these prisons? If these people were actually in prison, we would not be having these innocent victims killed on the street. I mean, this woman, she is the same age as me, Eliza, same age as me, also has two children. I cannot imagine what her family is going through. And yet these people don’t have compassion for them because for them it is about the numbers. 'Look, our prison does not have too many people in it, so that means I’m a good politician.' No, it means you're a horrific politician because you allow these people to roam freely, these violent criminals to roam freely on the streets when they are clearly telling you that they do not know how to function in a polite society. These people should be behind bars. You know, we are getting to a point right now where you have to ask the question, are they doing this intentionally? Are these people intentionally trying to destroy America under the guise of compassion? And I think the answer is, absolutely, they are."
