‘No one has to ask permission to um and in political records all that means is so you might say something that will make you feel uncomfortable’

BALLASY: "Any communities you won’t joke about specifically, like LGBT, any of those?"
HUGHLEY: "You know, I would never go out of my way to say a thing that I didn’t feel connected to, but I still don’t think, even with all that, that anything is out of bounds. I think everything potentially has a level of irony or a level of humor that can be extracted from it. I don’t think anybody is so sacred you can’t joke about them."
