Recall Gascon Co-Chair: We Have a Pathway to Put Gascon on a Recall Ballot

CADY: "Well, obviously I think it was a big lift to people in Los Angeles to recognize that their voices can be heard. We have less than a month, so we are slated right now to turn in all of our signed petitions by July 6th. So, we have to gather over 566,000, so over a half a million signatures, and we have to turn those in. I will say that right now we believe we certainly have a pathway to do that. We’ve got volunteer signature gatherers out every day, we have paid signature gatherers out every day, and we have also sent out over 3 million mailers and we’ve been getting a very good return on the mailers, so we believe that we certainly have a pathway to get the number of signatures that we need to turn in. And assuming that we get the number we need to turn in, we are confident, of course, that we will then be on the — that Gascon will be on the recall ballot."
