Caitlyn Jenner: I’m Glad Lia Thomas’s Happy, But Other Athletes Had to Keep Their Mouth Shut and ‘Play the Woke Thing’

JENNER: “You know, she said after she started her transition how happy she became — hey, I get that. I know how it is, I’ve been through the entire process from day one, and I am, you know, authentically a woman now. And I know the effects of that, and that she’s so happy. And I’m glad she’s happy. But in doing what she’s doing, which the NCAA has her allowed — has allowed, I am sure there’s a lot of people out there that are not happy. You know, Penn and the athletes there had to keep their mouths shut, they had to play the woke thing and they had to keep their mouths shut. But I don’t think the girl that just missed out by one place going to the NCAA is a happy athlete. When you transition, you have to have some integrity, and I think in some cases that may be lacking here, but she did play by the rules.”
