Dr. Oz Says the Chinese Are ‘Wonderful, Soulful Folks’ Who Just Want To ‘Build the World into a Better Place’
EXCERPT:
OZ "There’s a lot of xenophobia around the virus in China. People say, 'oh my goodness, they have inhumane lives, they buy live animals, what are these people doing?' I spent a lot of time in China. These are wonderful, soulful folks who have spent generations in poverty, who finally lifted themselves out, who want to be constructive and build the world into a better place. This virus is a risk for all of us. It’s something that should unify us in a very different way that any other threat to mankind — should unify. And the thing is, this is just a shot across the bow. This virus is not going to be a pandemic that kills a lot of people, of that I’m confident, but there will be one in our lifetime. We need to work with China. And stereotyping them is less than — where does that get us? Are you kidding me? Please."
