Obama Ethics Chief Walter Shaub: Hunter Biden’s Art Selling for $500,000 Because He’s the President’s Son
‘I think he knows that’
EXCERPT:
SHAUB: "And I think it would be very hard to draw a bright line rule here, but the standard could be, you know, don’t capitalize on your relationship to the president. And I know this is not a popular view among many, but this is a case where this individual would not be selling 13 pieces of art for half a million dollars apiece if he wasn't the president’s son. So, let him be an artist and let him sell them at the torpedo factory in Alexandria, Virginia, for 500 to 2,000 apiece, or let him have a big fancy show in New York, with all the celebrities and all the fanfare, but not sell the art. You know, there’s plenty of things he could do along the lines of art.”
