Democrat Explodes on House Floor Over Stalled Immigration Reform

Dem Rep. Goes Nuclear on House Floor, Screams at GOP’er Over Stalled Immigration Reform (Mediaite)

During a session of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, Rep. Jared Polis (D-CO) took to the floor to express his frustration and exasperation with stalled immigration reform measures by adopting an especially exasperated tone. Raising his voice and pointing his finger at the presiding officer, Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-IN), Polis excoriated the Republicans in the House for failing to pass immigration measures.

When Polis attempted to draw the officer’s attention to galley members, a violation of the rules of the House, he was reprimanded by Walorski.

“Madame Speaker, the gentle people in the gallery, would not have to be in the gallery, advocating if this House simply took up the bill,” Polis began. “Do you think they want to be spending their time here, Madame Speaker? Is that what you think?”
