Candace Owens: How Is It Equal If Lebron James Declares Himself To Be a Woman and Competed in Women’s Basketball?

OWENS: “You will be called a bigot as I have been called a bigot, a transphobe. The left likes to use all of these words when you are speaking common sense. I find it to be unbelievably offensive that the idea there are no differences between men and women. Me being someone who just gave birth six weeks ago. The idea that there is nothing that makes me special or different from a man that stands up and says, I now identify as a woman. It’s quite frankly insulting. Think about this. What they are saying is Lebron James, when he was in high school and drafted in the high school, Lebron James should have been allowed to say, I identify as a woman and should have been allowed to compete with every woman in any other competition and that would have been deemed equal? That would have been deemed an exercise in achieving equality? We know that is anything but. This is the problem with the left, tucker. It’s so, so serious. They do not understand what equality is. They don’t know what equality means. They think it’s sameness. We just need to make everybody carbon copy of the other person. Nobody can have any difference. They hate the idea of male, female, girl, boy. That means there are differences between all of us. There is. What conservatives fight for, we want to make sure people have equal opportunity but we acknowledge there are real biological realities that cannot be ignored.”
