Pete Hegseth on Big Tech: There Will Be No Crackdown on Tech
EXCERPT:
HEGSETH: “Look at the timing of what had happened, Dagen. It happened after Georgia, It happened after the certification of the Electoral College. That’s -- and then what happened on Capitol Hill can -- of course, became the rationale by which they were able to claim anyone who is a supporter of the president is affectively dangerous. And as a result, because it will lead to violence you all need to be shut down. So all of that was rhetoric that the Democrats were using to hope to get the big tech or little tech on their side. Now that the Democrats have political power, these companies, all of which give — I mean the donations of the management and employees of these companies are 95-5 to Democrats. We know exactly who they are, they're all leftists. There will be no crackdown on tech. Politicians, who are ultimately usually cowards, are happy to let someone else do their bidding. In this case, the cancellation of Trump is not something they can do politically, at least they haven’t done it yet. They are happy to do it in the virtual world and they believe they'll benefit, when in actuality it will create a backlash and further divide, which is not good for our country.”
