Josh Hawley on Contesting Electoral College Votes: Regardless of Outcome, I Just Want To Be Heard

‘They want new election laws to make sure that elections are secure going forward’

RUSH EXCERPT:

HAWLEY: “When I’m trying to do, Bret, raise concerns that my constituents have all over Missouri. I’ve heard from people like I never heard before. Over the last month about the election, they have major, major concerns about the integrity, the fairness of the election, they expect me to stand up and raise those concerns. It’s the only form I have to do it. This is a form the Constitution and the statutes provide and they want action, an investigation into the irregularities. They want new election laws to make sure that elections are secure going forward. This is my chance to stand up and speak for them as somebody has to take their concerns seriously and speak out. That’s what I’m going to do.”
