Denver’s KUSA-TV news anchor Kyle Clark has absolutely had it with you and your pictures of snow-covered deck furniture. He doesn’t want to see them, but you keep sending them in whenever there is a snowstorm. Last Thursday, Clark took a stand against pictures of snow-covered furniture in an explosive commentary segment.

“Good afternoon Colorado,” Clark began. “Listen, you know I love you. But it is time that we had a talk about your snow-covered patio furniture.”

“Why is it that every time it snows, we whip out photos of our patio sets like we’re showing off baby photos of our kids?” Clark asked. “Is that really the best we can do?”

“Yes, everyone is impressed you have a four-piece set,” he added. “Let’s be more original the next time the snow flies. You can still feature your patio set, but if you like it then you should have put a thing on it.”

Clark proceeded to show a variety of images of “things” on snow-covered patio furniture, like a Barbie Doll and a dog. “I know why we take photos of snow-covered patio sets. It’s easy,” he added. “But are we really a state that takes the easy way out?”

“Our welcome sign is a demon horse with crazy laser eyes,” Clark observed. “We don’t do lazy around here.”

“If we ask you for pictures of springtime, would you really send us a photo of your skis in your closest? No. We love winter. We own winter,” Clark concluded. “So let’s see some pictures that look like it next time it snows. Please. I’m begging you.”
